This is a deconstruction/Reconstruction project we completed in 2007. One of our clients that we were doing extensive ongoing interior & exterior renovations for had some old stone work that was crumbling into the lake, a large stone fireplace, a stone patio, as well as some old damaged stone work on the house. The Damage was fairly extensive from the age, the weather, and the water/ice over years of natural wear.
We set into motion with a plan, Numbered and stacked all the material as we deconstructed.
Our goal was to keep the work as close to the Original work as possible, while adding in some upgrades and much needed strength to the structure.
The customers were very pleased with the outcome, as were we.
There is no question, this piece will stand through the test of time, as well as the elements for many, many years to come. |
