In 2004, Gen-Ex was established as a fully licensed and insured business by  long time friends Paul Antonou and David Johnson. Paul and David both have over fifteen years of experience in the industry. They have worked on a plethora of roofs as laborers and shinglers giving them the experience needed to obtain their contractors license and start their own business.

Together this ambitious duo built the company from the ground up adhering to strict guidelines to stay current on the latest safety and industry standards. The safety precautions we follow include and are certainly not limited to the following:

1. Maintaining a clean job site at all times.
2. Utilizing building tables and tarps over any areas to protect your plant life and landscaping assets.
3. Photograph the premises before and after the job to ensure that any preexisting damage is documented. This protects homeowner and Gen-Ex alike.
4. Creating and following an thorough check list that’s individually customized for every job, and double checking every item on that list to get the job done properly the first time. After completion of the project, a Gen-Ex supervisor will walk through the job site with the client to discuss all steps and answer any additional questions the customer might have.
5. We follow all appointed legislated safety guidelines and our staff is all equipped with compliant safety gear and harnessing on jobs that require harness needs.
