In 2004, Gen-Ex was founded as a fully licensed and insured business by  good friends Paul Antonou and David Johnson. Paul and David both have over fifteen years of experience under their belts in the trade. They have worked on several jobs on many roofs as laborers and shinglers giving them the experience needed to earn their contractors license and establish their own business.

This ambitious pair built the company from the ground up adhering to strict codes to stay up to date on the most recent safety and industry standards. The safety measures we practice include and are certainly not limited to the following:

1. Maintaining a tidy job site at all times.
2. We use building tables and tarps over any areas to protect your plant life and landscaping assets.
3. Photograph the premises before and after the job to ensure that any damage sustained prior to the project is documented. This protects homeowner and Gen-Ex alike.
4. Creating and following an thorough check list that’s specifically customized for every job, and double checking every item on that list to get the job done correctly the first time. Once the job has been completed, a Gen-Ex supervisor will walk through the job site with the customer to discuss all steps and answer any questions the customer may have.
5. We follow all appointed legislated safety protocol and our crew is equipped with compliant safety gear and harnessing on jobs that require harness needs.
