Storm Damage
What Storm Damage Actually Looks Like
Most hail damage does not look like damage. There is no hole in the roof and no water on the ceiling. What hail does is bruise the shingle, knocking granules loose and exposing the asphalt underneath. That shingle then ages years faster than the ones around it, and the leak finally shows up two or three seasons later, long after the claim window has closed.
You Probably Cannot See It From the Ground
Bruised shingles, lifted tabs, creased edges, and damaged pipe boots are almost impossible to spot from the driveway. The first place we usually find evidence is the soft metal: gutters, downspouts, vents, and flashing. If your gutters are dimpled, your roof was hit too. Every inspection we do is done on the roof, not from the ground and not from a drone photo.
What We Document
We photograph every slope, mark test squares, and record hail size, impact density, and storm date. Insurance carriers approve claims on evidence, and a denied claim is usually a poorly documented one. We build the same kind of file an adjuster is trained to look for.
We Meet Your Adjuster On the Roof
You do not have to negotiate this on your own. We work directly with your adjuster, walk the roof alongside them, and make sure nothing gets left off the scope. If the first scope comes back short, we supplement it. We have been doing this in McHenry County for over 15 years.
No Contract Before You Decide
We will never ask you to sign a contract up front that obligates you to work with us. Get the inspection, see the findings, and decide from there. If there is no damage, we will tell you that too.
Storms Hit More Than the Roof
Wind and hail damage siding, gutters, soffit, and fascia at the same time. Because we handle all of it in house, the whole exterior goes on one claim and one schedule instead of three contractors and three separate trips.

Catch-All home and landscape protection system
We Proudly Use the:
Catch-All home and landscape protection system
The Catch-All home and landscape protection system is designed to provide your home and landscaping with the ultimate protection during roof tear-off projects. The netting used protects lawns and landscaping from burning or suffocating under traditional tarps. This material is also designed specifically to take a beating from falling debris, in fact, the netting we use for The Landscape Protection Kit is SUPER tear resistant. In addition to protecting your home and landscaping, this system helps us ensure a clean job site once the roofing project is complete.
